mid 60s today and sunny in Massachusetts which is a rare treat for Halloween–no jackets!! so our pseudo-cousin emma opted for the pumpkin totem this year while my son carved That One’s silhouette and just got word that my daughter dyed her hair magenta for trick or treating on Embassy Row in DC—apparently it’ll stay pink for a couple months. Yay.  heading up to Maine late tonite to see if the cottage was egged as is common in those parts and to hopefully get some writing done….. (ea)
